Such
places as Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Uzes, Fourques, Manosque
and Arles where many cupboards and " panetieres " (bread storers)
are made. Their shape is usually very similair, but certain carving
wrought ironwork details are a little different from one product
to another. On one hand the riches of the predominant catholic
religion (Basse (low) Provence : Aix, Arles, Marseille), and on
the other the rigourous and severe influence of the countryside
(Haute (high) Provence) and of the " reform " (Bas Languedoc).
